Petr Chitipakhovyan, President of the CH-Group has won the lifetime achievement award at the 2011 Russia and CIS Hotel Investment Conference. The award, which is being presented to a Russian national for the first time, was presented in front of a packed audience of Industry leaders. A previous winner of Russia’s Businessman of the Year award, this lifetime achievement award was given for outstanding contribution to the hotel industry and comes as the CH-Group cements its position as one of the premier hotel real estate developers in the region who have succeeded in creating successful internationally branded hotels in Moscow, St Petersburg and key regional cities. Mr. Chitipakhovyan said, "In the beginning of the new century I got acquainted with the world of international hotel business, which was making its grand entrance into Russia. Over the last years I have been trying to absorb all the knowledge I could obtain from the great representatives of this industry and have tried to work actively on the development and implementation of the international standards for hotel services in our country.
